After only a little over a
year in existence, Centerville-based Elan Vitál, Inc. was recently honored with a
national award for excellence in senior wellness programming.
Vitál, a preventive health and wellness consulting business and research and
conditioning facility, received a "NuStep Pinnacle Award" for placing in the top
five in the "Health and Wellness Center" category for its contribution and
innovation to the life enhancement of older adults. "Vitál received high scores for
their creativity and motivation with their clients," said Cinzia Bianchi,
sales/marketing coordinator at NuStep.
Judging criteria were based on program overview, marketing, participation, motivation,
program enhancement, educational content, outcome studies and supportive services.
Vitál, which incorporates an exclusively licensed assessment tool from research by the
Canadian Institute of Stress, has trademarked its "Lifegevity®
Program" that is clinically proven to reduce a person’s body age by 11.4 years
in just eight months.
The program provides complete preventive health and wellness by concentrating on change
