Stress

Stress is typically referred to as negative, that needs to be managed and controlled to minimize its effects.  On the contrary, stress is one of the only ways you can grow as an individual.  For example, when you perform physical exercise you are causing stress on your body.  Constant training increases your strength and toughness.  Your body reacts in much the same way to everyday stressors. Stress is the stimulus for all growth.

As Dr. Hans Selye discovered and demonsrated with the General Adaptation Syndrom, stress can cause enormous physiological changes to your body.   It's how you choose to deal with this stress, mentally and physically, that is important
